Lots of excitement here when Random House, in their infinite wisdom, decided it was time to repackage the Harvey backlist, with all of the available titles set to appear as B format Arrow paperbacks. And that was before I actually saw the jackets themselves. Just terrific. Font, image, everything. Happy writer, happy man!
Just click on any one to see them full screen.

They are sensationally good – congratulations, you must be purring with pleasure!
I have just completed re-reading allof the tattered, but readable- Charlie Resnick novels and now wonder if I should pass them on and buy all of the new publications which look bewitchingly tempting.certainly would dress up my bookshelves.in the absence of a new Resnick. Seems I’ve seen discussion on the blog of th Elder series-are you not going to add o his exploits? Anyway, ANY John Harvey offering is a blessing to this reader.

Thanks from happy readers.
Love them! It would be great if one or two of the new covers were available as posters so that we ‘Resnick’ fans could display our enthusiasm and enjoy the artwork!
Love the look of the pbs. My collection is a hodge podge of pbs and trade editions. It was so hard to buy your books in Canada at the beginning of your career! Look forward to seeing how these pbs ‘feel’. It’s also a tactile experience with books, don’t you think. Hope your arm is healing and your new book is out within a year.
Is this the same series Bloody Brits published?
Pat : In answer to your query, no, not at all. Bloody Brits reissued the first 10 Resnick novels in paperback in the States, where I believe they are still available. These paperback reissues, with quite different covers, and in the larger paperback size, will be published in the UK and Canada [lucky Jaye!] but not – because B Brits have the rights – in the US. Eat your hearts out!
Also, Pat, in response to your other query, there are no plans to write another Elder novel. But then, some wee time ago I said the same about Resnick …
I can only hope the Elder “decision” is only a thought—not a resolution!
