Okay, I know this is bad form and tantamount to showing off, but this is from Patrick Anderson’s review of Good Bait in today’s Washington Post.

It’s true. Harvey’s books are a joy because he excels in every aspect of crime fiction, including adroit plotting, sharp dialogue, subtle characterisation and an underlying, shimmering intelligence that makes it all look easy, which it assuredly is not.

    If I had a review like that I would definitely want to show it off, and it should help will sales too!

    I have just finished reading Good Bait and completely agree: You are a master, John. Can’t wait for the next book to arrive in Las Vegas so heal quickly and get back to work.
